5. Govt. Azizul Haque College , Bogura (EIIN: 119246)

The college was established in July 1939. It was named after Sir Azizul Haque, who was vice chancellor of Calcutta University at the time. M. M. Mukherjee was the first principal.

The college organised its first classes at Subil Free Primary School in the north side of Bogra town. Later it was transferred to Fulbari Bottola. It was initially only one small straw-shaded room. Marhum Moyen Uddin Pramanik and Marhum Rasidullah Sardar of Fulbari donated land to build the college.

In 1941 the college was sanctioned by Calcutta University with the efforts of Sir Azizul Haque, who was Education Minister of Non-Separated Bangal. In 1968 the college was recognized as a government college. The college has two residences. The original 4 acres (0.016 km2) of land is now known as the Old Residence of Azizul Haque College. Only higher secondary classes are administered there. In 1962, through the efforts of Habibur Rahaman (previous Education Minister of the Pakistani government) a new building was established on 55 acres (0.22 km2) of land. This part of the college is known as the New Residence of Govt. Azizul Haque College.

6. Rajuk Uttara Model College (EIIN: 108573)

RAJUK Uttara Model College (RUMC) is a co-educational College in Uttara, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It is situated about a kilometer north of Shahjalal International Airport. Established in 1994, the institution teaches its students in Bengali and English under the Bangladeshi national curriculum. It has two recurring schedules: Morning and Day. Students are admitted into specific grades; according to the availability of seats, starting from the sixth up to the twelfth grade. The main academic building was constructed in 1994 and the college was formally inaugurated during the 1994–95 academic year by the former prime minister of Bangladesh, Khaleda Zia. Due to a shortage of infrastructural facilities, further construction was taken up in 1995. This construction was completed in two phases and the campus took its present shape in 2001.

7. Adamjee Cantonment College (EIIN: 107855)

Adamjee Cantonment College also known as ACC is an educational institution in Dhaka Cantonment, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The institution was established in 1960 following the ideology of originally renowned public schools of England – Eton and Harrow. It is managed by Bangladesh Army and primarily for the children of Army personnel. But students from the civilian section can also study in this college. On 16 February 1960, Adamjee Cantonment College started its journey as an English medium school that was founded by Gul Muhammad Adamjee (son of Sir Adamjee Haji Dawood, founder of Adamjee Group). The institution was later renamed Adamjee Cantonment College. A public school attached to the college served students in first to tenth grade. The school was separated in 1995 and was made a totally independent institution.

9. Birshrestha Noor Mohammad Public College (EIIN: 108161)

Birshreshtha Noor Mohammad Public College (BNMPC) (formerly Rifles Public School and College) is a Bangladeshi school and college located at the headquarters of Border Guard Bangladesh in Pilkhana. Although originally established to ensure the education of the children of Border Guards Bangladesh (former Bangladesh Rifles) members but civilians can also study here. Major General Shakil Ahmed is the Chief patron of the college, Brigadier General Benazir Ahmed is the chairperson of the governing body, and Lieutenant Colonel Md. Mizanur Rahaman is the principal. Birshrestha Noor Mohammad Public College was established in 1977 in Pilkhana which contains the headquarters of the Bangladesh Border Guards. It was named after Lance naik Nur Mohammad Sheikh, who served in Bangladesh Rifles and died in action during Bangladesh Liberation War. For his actions during the war he was awarded the highest gallantry award of Bangladesh, Bir Sreshtho. The classes for secondary school began in 1978 and students first sat for the Secondary School Certificate examinations in 1980. Birshrestha Noor Mohammad Rifles Public School was upgraded to Birshrestha Noor Mohammad Rifles Public School & College in 1983 and students from the college first sat for the Higher Secondary Certificate examinations in 1985. The school adopted the English version of the national curriculum in 2004.

10. Government Hazi Mohammad Mohsin College (EIIN: 104527)

Government Hazi Mohammad Mohsin College is one of the renowned colleges of Bangladesh located in Chittagong, Bangladesh. Named after Muhammad Mohsin, a 19th-century philanthropist, it is one of the oldest educational institutions in the country, originally established in British India. It offers Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) (classes 11–12) in the national curriculum of Bangladesh coupled with bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in various disciplines in association with National University, Bangladesh. Chittagong Madrasa was established in 1874 using a waqf donated by Muhammad Mohsin. In 1918, plans to improve education at the institution were developed and by 1927 it had gradually evolved into Islamic Intermediate College. Forty years later, a government-run higher secondary college was founded at the foot of the hill on which Islamic Intermediate College stood. On 20 July 1979, Hazi Muhammad Mohsin College came into existence when the two institutions merged.
