1. Dhaka College, Dhaka
Dhaka College is one of the oldest colleges in Bangladesh because it was established in 1841. More than 25 thousand students study here not only in honours masters but also in higher secondary education. It has a reputation in case of remaining affiliation with the University of Dhaka. In 1875, Dhaka College received a great honor: from that year, science classes were opened in Dhaka College, that is, a decision was taken to teach new subjects related to science. Government Bangla College (also known as Bangla College, or abbreviated as GBC) is a public college located in the northwest part of the capital city of Dhaka in Bangladesh.The college was established in 1962 by Principal Abul Kashem to promote the use of the Bangla in higher education and to establish the language in all spheres of national life of Bengalis.
