Dhaka College is one of the oldest colleges in Bangladesh because it was established in 1841. In 1875, Dhaka College received a great honor: from that year, science classes were opened in Dhaka College, that is, a decision was taken to teach new subjects related to science. Begum Badrunnessa Government Women’s College is a women’s college located in Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh. It is commonly called Badrunnessa College. It is located in Bakshibazar area of Dhaka. If you consider the field of home economics, it is the only government college in Bangladesh. Government Bangla College (also known as Bangla College, or abbreviated as GBC) is a public college located in the northwest part of the capital city of Dhaka in Bangladesh.[1]The college was established in 1962 by Principal Abul Kashem to promote the use of the Bangla in higher education and to establish the language in all spheres of national life of Bengalis. It is affiliated with the University of Dhaka. Soon after the historical Language Movement, in 1956 Bangla was recognized as one of the state languages of Pakistan, in the country’s first Constitution.
